ELDRED — Jeff E. Corah of Barnum Road passed away Saturday (Feb. 21, 2026) at Sena Kean Nursing Facility in Smethport.

Jeff was born June 25, 1954, in Olean, N.Y., the son of Ellis and Joyce Kio Corah. On Oct. 21, 1978, in Eldred, he married Shirley Ann Hadley, who predeceased him on May 13, 2024. Jeff was a 1972 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School. He worked at American Olean Tile Co. in Olean for more than 40 years, retiring upon the shutdown of Dal-Tile on Oct. 5, 2012.

Jeff was an honorary member of the Sons of the Eldred American Legion and a social member of the Eldred VFW. Jeff enjoyed processing deer with his dad, he had a hobby farm and he also loved going to his camp with the guys every chance he could.

Jeff is survived by two stepsons, Gary (Samantha) Bodinger and Chris Bodinger and their families; three siblings, Arlene Thompson, Carol (Don) Bosworth and Phyllis (Tom) Allen; many nieces and nephews; and close friends, Herald App and Carol Curtis.

Along with his loving wife, Shirley, Jeff was predeceased by his parents; a stepdaughter, Nicole Bodinger; and a brother, Max Corah.

Per Jeff’s request, there will be no public services.
