Crews recently pulled cable through underground conduit for three power lines that exit the Bradford West Substation. The lines are capable of carrying more electricity and will allow system operators flexibility to transfer customers from one line to another if there is a problem with the line that usually serves them. Outside the substation, the lines run up the side of utility poles in plastic tubes and continue into the community as overhead wires.
