HS Roundup: Bradford, O-E girls claim Saturday wins
Girls Basketball
Bradford 37, Warren 28
Bradford’s Haley Keane scored 16 points and Cami Sheeley added eight as the Lady Owls defeated the Lady Dragons Saturday.
Bradford outscored Warren 31-15 in the first half to guarantee the win.
Keying the offense for Warren was Peyton Waterson with nine points.
Otto-Eldred 56, Clarion-Limestone 39
The Lady Terrors outscored C-L 27-21 in the first half to take the advantage and maintained momentum through the second half to secure the victory.
For O-E, Lexi Prince scored 14 points, had five rebounds and one steal; Ayla VanScoter added 13 tallies, seven rebounds, two steals and two assists; and Rayel Hakes and Baylee Francis each contributed 12 points. Francis also had four rebounds and four assists, while Jahden Smith had four rebounds and three assists and Kayla Edminster pulled down three boards.
Leading C-L were R Love with eight points and B.Meals with seven.
Boys Basketball
Port Allegany 50, Austin 14
For Port Allegany, Jarrod Funk posted 22 points to lead the Gators to the win.
For Austin, Brennan Ogden contributed six points for the day.

Bradford competes at Ultimate Warrior Tournament
MORRISDALE – Bradford scored 58.5 points, finishing 28th out of 47 teams at the Ultimate Warrior Tournament over the weekend.
Jordan Thompson took second place at 160, going 5-1 on the day and losing to Central York’s Nathaniel Replogle in the Championship Finals.
Also for the Owls, Ryan Galloway (133) made it to Championship Round 2 and claimed a win by tech fall over Punxsutawney’s Gavin Jacobson (18-3, 3:39).
Tommy Langdon (172) also had a win in Championship Round 3, winning by decision over Matthew Myers of Hickory, 4-2. Langdon lost in the Championship Quarterfinals to Johnsonburg’s Rocco Allegretto, who won by tech fall, 15-0, 1:23.
