Emma Wright, 97, formerly of 468 Lambert Drive, passed away Jan. 23, 2026, at Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born Aug. 21, 1928, in Bradford, Emma was a graduate of Bradford Area High School.

She married Norman “Mac” Wright, who preceded her in death on July 6, 1996.

Emma worked at the YWCA in the Domestic Abuse Department and later in sales for Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Store. She volunteered for the Republican Party of McKean County.

Emma is survived by one daughter-in-law, Kathy Wright of Bradford; three grandchildren, Melissa (Jon) Andrianoff of Derrick City, Tara (Greg) Johnson of Depew, N.Y.; and one great-grandson, Kyle (Brianna Higgins) Kirk of Bradford.

In addition to her parents and her ex-husband, Mac, she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard “Rick” Wright, who died April 19, 2023, and Robert Allen Wright, who died Nov. 27, 2025; and one great-grandson, Peyton Kirk, who died Aug. 1, 2020.

There will be no public services observed. Burial was in Willow Dale Cemetery.
