Thompson issues 2025 Year in Review
BELLEFONTE — U.S. Rep. Glenn “GT” Thompson issued a 2025 Year in Review, providing a snapshot of the work he focused on in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., during the year.
“This year was full of legislative victories: From ensuring more milk options in public schools to making certain our rural schools receive the funding they need, we continue to deliver for Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District,” Thompson said. “In addition to serving as a senior member of the Education and Workforce Committee, I continued in my role as chairman of the Agriculture Committee, where I proudly advocate for all of rural America.”
TOP SPEAKER: Thompson was again named the No. 1 speaker in the House of Representatives, speaking 91 days on the House Floor and delivering 120 speeches.
SIGNED INTO LAW: Thompson helped ensure passage of the Secure Rural Schools Reauthorization Act, which was signed into law in December 2025. He also secured numerous provisions in the Working Families Tax Cut Act that became law in July 2025, including the largest investment in American agriculture in a generation as well as a provision authorizing Workforce Pell Grants. In addition, Thompson delivered more than $6.1 million in federal funding for nine community projects in PA-15, which became law through the appropriations package Congress passed to reopen the government this fall.
PRESIDENT’S DESK: Thompson’s Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025 has passed both the House and Senate and will be signed into law by President Trump.
HOUSE APPROVED: In an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote in July, the House approved Thompson’s Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 (CLARITY Act) to establish a federal regulatory framework for digital assets like cryptocurrency. In September, with strong bipartisan support, the House passed Rep. Thompson’s U.S. Grain Standards Reauthorization Act of 2025, a testament to our shared commitment to fair markets and reliable standards for American farmers.
The report also includes information about community project funding, nominations of seven exceptional students from PA-15 to our nation’s service academies and various metrics for constituent services.
