KANE — Samuel Lance Dubaich, 41, of Edgar James Street passed away unexpectedly Wednesday (Nov. 19, 2025) at his residence.

Born Sept. 6, 1984, in McKeesport, he was a son of Lorinda Szczupak and the late Samuel Dubaich.

Sam was a die setter by trade and earned his degree in computer aided design from PTI.  He was a member of the Kane Fraternal Order of Eagles Club 307. His kids were his joy and he leaves behind a plethora of loving family members.

In addition to his mother and his stepfather, Waldemar Szczupak of Bradford, he is survived by one son, Samuel David Dubaich, and one daughter, Leona Lee Dubaich both of Kane; two brothers, Josh (Tabitha) Gadley and David (Jennifer) Dubaich, both of Kane; his grandmother, Minnie Dubaich; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Dubaich; and his maternal grandparents, John and Billie Jo Gadley.

Friends are invited to attend a viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Cummings Funeral Home Inc., where a funeral will immediately follow with the Rev. Calvin Cook officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
