The McKean County Courthouse was lighted green in support of veterans this November. At their Oct. 28 meeting, commissioners issued a proclamation encouraging residents to display green lights in their homes or businesses from Nov. 4 to 11 in support of Operation Green Light for Veterans. The green light, which symbolizes hope, renewal and recognition, is part of a nationwide initiative to remind veterans they are seen, appreciated and supported.
