Patricia L. Barton, 78, of Rixford passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport.

She was born March 3, 1947, in Olean, N.Y., a daughter of the late Philip and Beulah Hatch Scalfaro.

She was a 1965 graduate of Otto-Eldred High School.

On Feb. 26, 1965, at the Church of Christ, Bradford, she married Henry “Frank” Barton, who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 2013.

For 40-plus years Patricia worked for the former First National Bank of Eldred and later Hamlin Bank & Trust Co., Smethport, until her retirement in 2012.

She loved playing cards and going out for meals with her friends. In her free time she enjoyed sewing and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, of whom she thought the world.

She is survived by one daughter, Tracey (Bruce) Stone of Rixford; one sister, Mary “Robin” Frederick of Duke Center; four grandchildren, Cody (Brittany) Stone of Rixford, Mackenzie Stone of Elizabeth City, N.C., Sydney (Courtney Harris) Stone of Port Allegany and Alexander (Michelle) Stone of Waipahu, Hawaii; seven great-grandchildren, Ryon, Sophia, Braylin, Addley, Elliana, Riah and Nash; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dean Scalfaro, Bruce Scalfaro and Jerry Scalfaro.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 13, 2025) at Mascho Funeral Home Inc., where a funeral service will immediately follow with the Rev. Ricky Price, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
