Victoria Walker

ST. MARYS — Victoria R. Walker, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday (Sept. 14, 2025) at Lakeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Smethport.

She was born Nov. 23, 1937, in Renovo, a daughter of the late George and Elsie Straightwell Fischer.

Vicky was Catholic by faith and was a graduate of Central High School. She was a hard worker who loved volunteering, helping anyone in need, and taking care of others. She spent many years volunteering at the Salvation Army and for the local nursing homes. Vicky was a very proud and faithful member of Alcoholics Anonymous, having celebrated more than 35 years of sobriety, and always enjoyed helping others with their journey. When she wasn’t putting together puzzles, she loved visiting her family and friends.

She is survived by four children, George (Cheryl) Lukaschunis of Pennsylvania Furnace, Rose Bliss of St. Marys, Robert Lukaschunis of Bradford and Patrick Regec of DuBois; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings, Diane Brenneman of Kill Devil Hills, N.C., Sara “Sally” (Bill) Smith of St. Marys, Barbara (Fred) Klinzing of Emporium and Frank Fischer of Easton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by three children, Paul Lukaschunis, Michael Lukaschunis and Christine Szymanski; and six siblings, Dan Fischer, Mary Morris, Linda Fischer, Virginia Fischer, Sandra Tucker and Jude Ann Fischer.

Family and friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 18, 2025) at  Lynch-Green Funeral Home, where a memorial service will immediately follow with the Rev. Jeffery Noble officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous.
