Barrie Sera

Barrie W. Sera, 82, of 38 Lorana Ave., passed away Thursday (Sept. 4, 2025) at Bradford Manor.

Born Dec. 24, 1942, in Bradford, he was a son of the late John H. and Constance Elizabeth Woodard Sera.

He was a 1962 graduate of Bradford High School. He later attended Bryant and Stratton Business School and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

On Jan. 22, 1966, he married Barbara A. Allen Sera, who preceded him in death on March 3, 2019.

Barrie was formerly employed at Dresser Manufacturing for 20 years, he later worked as an insurance agent for Prudential Life Insurance and he was a partner at Legend’s Restaurant. He partnered with his son and built custom lawn furniture at Quality Wood Designs. He began working at Top Line as a cost estimator and he retired after 20 years. In 2021, he co-founded Sera Enterprises LLC, launching The Good Place Food Trailer and later opening Fox’s Pizza Den of Bradford.

He enjoyed watching football and camping when his children were younger.

Surviving are one daughter, Molly (Charles) Isaman, and two sons, Brady Sera and Brent (Cheri) Sera, all of Bradford; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Barb, of 53 years, Barrie was preceded in death by one son, Brian Sera; and two brothers, John Sera and David Sera.

Family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 9, 2025) at Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral services will follow with the Rev. John Kearns, pastor of Emanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the YWCA, United Way or the ELF Fund.
