PORT ALLEGANY — Craig Sven Lindstrom, 82, of Smethport, formerly of Olean, N.Y., and Bolivar, N.Y., died Thursday (Aug. 28, 2025) at Comfort House of Allegany County, Wellsville, N.Y.

Born Oct. 17, 1942, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was a son of Sven V. and Mary S. McAdam Lindstrom.  A 1960 graduate of Olean High School, he owned and operated a hardware store in Olean.  Surviving are a friend, Starr Stratton of Smethport; a son; and grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Hugh M. and Jeredith Lindstrom; a nephew, H. Randall Lindstrom; and a niece, Laura Jane Lindstrom.
