NY, NY Dueling Pianos tickets on sale Tuesday
Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center announced the return of the ever popular Dueling Pianos, set to visit Bradford on Nov. 22 in Mukaiyama University Room on the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford campus.
“NY, NY Dueling Pianos is a comedy-based dueling piano show that is a fun, high-energy party-in-a-box,” BCPAC representatives said. “Their pianists sing and play everything from Taylor Swift, Buffet, Garth, Queen, Maroon 5, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Jerry Lee Lewis, Disney, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Metallica and just about anything else. But most important, the show is all about the audience. It’s a clap-a-long, sing-along, crazy fiesta with roasts, drinking songs, toasts and hi-octane comedy.”
NY, NY Dueling Pianos started in New York City in 2012 and, within a couple years, were getting invited all over the U.S. The full traveling show comes complete with pianos, sound and lighting, with the very best dueling piano talent anywhere.
“Our patrons will get what they call a high-octane fiesta that’s part rock show, part comedy show, and all sorts of craziness rolled into one big outrageous party. When we had them here a couple of years ago, they were a huge hit with all ages, and people kept asking when are you bringing them back? Well, here they are,” said Darren Litz, executive director for BCPAC.
“The audience becomes part of the show in a request-driven sing-along, dance-along, thump-the-tables-along extravaganza. If people are looking for a great evening of fun and entertainment, this is the dueling piano show to come see.”
Doors open at 7 p.m. with a dessert bar and cash bar. Tickets are $40 per person, and seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons can fill a table of eight for special reserved seating. Tickets go on sale Tuesday and can be purchased online at bcpac.com, by visiting the ticket office at 119 Main St., or by calling (814) 362-2522.
