Boys Golf
Bradford golfers beat Brockway
The Bradford boys golf team defeated Brockway 173-186.
“As a team we played well today. Our top three guys came through for us,” Bradford coach Travis Faulkner said. “Leading the team was Danny Marasco and Tarren Reese both with 40’s. They both had one birdie, four pars and three bogeys. Danny birdied hole four and Tarren birdied hole 3. This was Danny’s low high school round and Tarren continues to impress with his way of scrambling around the course.
“Jamin Bell shot a 43. He had one birdie, two pars and four bogeys. Jamin is really focused this season. He has a goal in his head for this season and he is going after it. He has been fighting through a back problem but continues to work hard at practice. Ean Wright shot 50 today. He had one par and four bogeys. He wasn’t happy with his play today. He was a bit off but still played well on a course with some tough greens.”
Bradford’s Adam Leet shot 53 and Mason Close shot 55. They both had one par and two bogeys.
“They hit some great shots today and will be back at practice tomorrow,” Faulkner said.
The Owls’ next match is Sept 3, as they host DuBois.
