Seneca Sips beer, wine festival brewing up fun

SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Something fun and delicious is brewing at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino — the Seneca Sips Beer & Wine Festival, set for Saturday, Sept. 13 in the east parking lot.

“Late summer is such a great time to be outside, and we want to squeeze every last drop of fun out of this beautiful time of year,” said Linda Hitchcock, general manager of Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.

The Seneca Sips Beer & Wine Festival will feature beer offerings from dozens of local, regional and national brewers as well as local wines, live music and plenty of ways to enjoy a fun Saturday afternoon surrounded by beautiful scenery with friends.

“We are blessed with one of the most stunningly beautiful locations anywhere in the region, so there will definitely be a backyard party feel to the event,” Hitchcock said.

Uncle Bens Remedy and The Iron Eyes Experience will keep the party rocking and the crowd energized with great live performances. To keep everyone’s belly full, there will also be a mouthwatering pig roast for attendees to enjoy!

“We want all of our friends and neighbors to come spend the day with us and enjoy the unique flavors of Western New York,” Hitchcock added.

Committed participants to date include: 42 North, 1911 Cider, Big Ditch, Buffalo Olde Brewery, Ellicottville Brewing Company, Founders, Hamburg Brewing Company, Owls Brew, Resurgence/Black Bird and Southern Tier Brewing Company.

Tickets for the Seneca Sips Beer & Wine Festival are on sale now. General Admission Sampler tickets are $50 and include tastings from each participating brewery and winery, food tastings and $20 in free slot play. Non-Sampler tickets are available for $35 and include food tastings, two non-alcoholic drink tickets and $20 in free slot play. This event is for ages 21 and up.

Tickets are available at SenecaAlleganyCasino.com or Ticketmaster.com.
