COUDERSPORT — Organizers aim to offer hope, guidance and opportunities during the Second Chance Career & Resource Event set 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 9 at PA CareerLink Potter County, 279 Route 6 West.

The event, held in conjunction with PA CareerLink Days, is a collaboration between PA CareerLink Potter County and the Potter County Re-Entry Coalition. Second-chance employers, vocational training resources, education support, housing resources, recovery resources, mental health resources and more will be on hand to offer support for individuals, returning citizens and families impacted by the criminal justice system.

“Whether someone is rebuilding, re-entering or just beginning,” organizers said, “we believe in second chances and we’re here to help connect the pieces.”
