ERIE – McDowell Track Club Hosted the Summer Showcase Track & Fields series of meets for the second year in a row.  Five Bradford athletes took part as members of the Bradford Road Runners Track Club.  They attended three of the four meets held and qualified for the Showcase Championship Meet last Saturday.

“They did very well.  Tyler Simmons won the 200M in a personal best time of 23.84.  He also placed third in the 100M in 11.69 and won the high jump with a jump of 5’8”. Logan Kohler won both the hurdle races running the 300M Intermediate Hurdles in 42.22 and the 110M High Hurdles in 15.61,” Bradford Coach Tom Tessena said. “Kadyn Tessena placed first in the 800M  and second in the 1600M with best times of 2:14.61 and 5:00.89 during the season.  Enzo Aiello and Cooper McGee placed first and second in the pole vault with a height of 12’.  Enzo placed first with fewer misses. These guys worked hard on their own this summer and this experience should help them in the spring.”
