Clara Costello turned 102 years young Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, celebrating the milestone with four generations of family along with friends and Bradford Ecumenical Home staff. Asked whether there was anything she would have done differently, she said, “God has blessed me. I wouldn’t really change anything.” After a moment’s reflection she added, “Maybe I would have liked to be an airline stewardess. I really like to fly. I just didn’t have the time to do that.” She offered the following advice to readers, “Work hard for what you want. Nothing is free, you have to work for it!”
