Frantz Claims SCDRA/Mayhew Memorial; Holden Claims 100th SB Mod Feature
CLEARFIELD- Josh Frantz of Reynoldsville picked up the SCDRA Northeast Four Cylinder Touring Series/Jess Mayhew Memorial Friday night at Hidden Valley Speedway and continued his domination on the tour, while Jimmy Holden of Tiona claimed his 100th career Small Block Modified feature win and his third straight.
Other Repeat winners included Gary Little of Clearfield in the Semi Late feature and Eric Lucas of Clearfield in the Pure Stock division.
Qualifying wins went to: Chaz Smith, Luke Hoffner, Tiana Anderson, Josh Frantz and Jeff Erb. The two 10-lap B-Mains went to Trevor Putt and Justin Williamson.
This week, racing action moves to Saturday Nights for the final two weeks due to school and high school football. This week will see a regular show for the Semi Lates, Small Block Modifieds, Pure Stocks, Little’s Drive In Four Cylinders and Four Cylinder Juniors and the 600 Micros.
Coming up on August 30 is the final points race of the season, and it will be the final Double Points event of the year along with Kids Bike Races (helmets are required
