Petraeus to speak at PA Chamber dinner
HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry announced that retired four-star U.S. Army general and former CIA Director David H. Petraeus will participate in an exclusive fireside chat at the 41st Annual Chamber Dinner on Oct. 6 at Hershey Lodge and Convention Center.
Petraeus will discuss issues ranging from leadership to international affairs immediately before keynote speaker and one of the world’s most successful athlete-turned-businessman Shaquille O’Neal takes the stage.
“For more than four decades, the PA Chamber Annual Dinner has built a legacy of hosting programs that inform and inspire with the many distinguished leaders who have graced our stage,” said PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein. “Welcoming Gen. Petraeus for a fireside chat will be a powerful way to carry that tradition forward and set the tone for an extraordinary evening that will also feature the legendary, larger-than-life Shaquille O’Neal.”
Renowned for his leadership in Iraq and Afghanistan and his tenure as director of the CIA, Petraeus is widely regarded as one of the most influential strategic thinkers of our time. His latest book, Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine, explores the shifting dynamics of global conflict and America’s evolving role on the world stage.
During the fireside chat, Petraeus will offer insights on:
- Leadership in times of crisis, touching on his personal military experience.
- National security challenges the U.S. faces now and in the future.
- The United States’ position in global affairs.
The fireside chat is presented in partnership with the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
The PA Chamber Annual Dinner is Pennsylvania’s premier gathering of business, civic and governmental leaders. Sponsorships and tables are now available for reservation.
