The Bradford Lady Owls golf team teed off their 2025 season in impressive fashion, defeating Brockway Tuesday by a score of 235–243.

Payten Leet led the way, earning medalist honors with a stellar round of 42, highlighted by two birdies. Cecily Bell carded a solid 59, while Daisy Green posted a 63.

It was also a special day for Natalee Popiel, Ana Benedict, Addison Benson, and Lilly Glantz, who all made their varsity debuts. Each showed promise, hitting a number of quality shots and displaying poise under competitive pressure.

“The course was firm with a few tricky holes that made it tough on the girls,” said Coach Doug Atteberry. “It was great to get them out competing, enjoying the game, and gaining experience they can build on all season.”
