Custer City man jailed for alleged assault
A Custer City man was sent to McKean County Jail for allegedly pushing a 7-year-old child off her bicycle Friday evening.
David M. Magnetti, 51, of 996 South Ave., is charged with simple assault, a first-degree misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a third-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary offense.
According to the criminal complaint, around 8 p.m. Friday, two officers of Bradford Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence on South Avenue where a grandmother told them Magnetti had shoved a 7-year-old girl off her bicycle. The child had an injury on her inner right leg.
The officers could hear Magnetti yelling from his yard, made contact with him and placed him in custody.
He was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Engman and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. He is scheduled for Central Court on Thursday.
Bradford man charged after alleged domestic incident
A Bradford man has been charged with allegedly choking a woman.
Jamal H. Wilson, 46, of 19 W. Corydon St., Apt. 3, is charged with strangulation, a second-degree felony; harassment, a summary offense; and simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, at noon Saturday, a female went to the Bradford City Police Station and reported a domestic assault by Wilson, saying he had put her in a choke hold, causing injury and making her afraid for her life. She said she was knocked to the ground, causing abrasions and pain.
Wilson was arraigned before on-call District Judge David Engman. Bail was set at $10,000 and was posted. Wilson is scheduled for Central Court on Thursday.
