Sue Sirianni
KANE — Sue Sirianni, 66, of Chestnut Street passed away early Friday morning (Aug. 8, 2025) at UPMC Kane.
She was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Kane, a daughter of the late Louis and Frances “Chickie” Nicolazzo Sirianni.
Born and raised in Kane, Sue was a well-known and loved member of the community throughout her lifetime. She owned and operated Chickie and Co. and Kane Community Market, where she spent her summers selling fresh produce and forming lasting friendships with her customers. Known for her straightforward nature and genuine spirit, she approached life with honesty and sincerity. Beneath her no-nonsense demeanor and tough exterior was a kindness that touched everyone who knew her. She was always ready to lend a hand, selflessly helping others in need.
Above all, Sue’s greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Rannie.” She dedicated her life to them, centering her days around their activities and milestones. Whether in the stands cheering at a game, sitting in the audience at a school event, or proudly sharing stories about them, Rannie’s devotion to her children and grandchildren was evident to all. Her love for her family and deep connection to the community will leave a legacy of loyalty, generosity and love that will be remembered for years to come.
Sue is survived by one daughter, Christa (Jason) Wensel of Kane; one son, Mike (Krista) Jamerson of Kane; six grandsons, Brock, Lucas, Cole, Kahne, Kash and Tucker; one granddaughter, Mia Smith; two great-grandchildren, Rian and Jaxon; four brothers, Frank, Paul and Jerry Sirianni, all of Kane, and Mike (Pat) Sirianni of Webster, N.Y.; and one sister, Maria (Steven) Sharrow of Kane.
