Kieran Madden, son of Bradford native Fran and Candice Madden of Coplay, PA, recently won the one-on-one championship out of forty-seven players at Parkland High School of boys going into 7th grade. His five-man team lost in the semis although he scored 24 points.He plays baseball in the fall for a traveling team that plays a tournament every weekend in a different state. On his summer tournament team he batted fourth, played third, and was one of the starting pitchers.  He led his team in extra base hits and hit .470.  He is also an A student.
