Elk Co. daytime closure continues through end of week
CLEARFIELD — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said that its Elk County Maintenance Organization will continue to close Curtis Wright Road (Route 2004) during daylight hours through the remainder of this week as it works to replace a trio of 42-inch pipes to help prepare the road for future resurfacing projects. While the road is closed, traffic will follow Route 555 to Route 120 in Cameron County, and Wykoff Run Road (Route 2001) around the closure. Department forces will complete all work by Friday, weather permitting.
