‘Change Making Change’
A check for $780 was presented to Joe Doriguzzi, center, manager at the Friendship Table, by Connie Shanks on behalf of the Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center and the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) Workshop. During the annual workshop, 60 participating students had the opportunity to give back to the community with their annual “Change Making Change” campaign. They collected spare change to help the Friendship Table, a local non-profit that provides critical services feeding the hungry in our rural community. Pictured, from left, are volunteers Tracey VanGorder and Pat Durolek, along with students and teachers from the workshop, Emma Mathias, Alex Mathias, Alyson Close, Erika Close, Diana Mathias and Harper Butler. Through MCT, students have donated more than $3,000 to the Friendship Table over the past four years. “The Friendship Table wishes to thank (the students) for being difference makers in our community,” representatives said.
