Cosper wins Junior AAA singles, receives scholarship
SPARTA, Ill. — After 3,100 miles, 80 hours in the truck, and 1,700 competitive targets Brayden Cosper finished participation in national shooting events and his senior year of shooting at the AIM Grand in Sparta, Illinois. He competed in sporting clays, skeet and various trap disciplines.
Cosper had a spectacular week , with his best result a win in the junior AAA singles event, shooting 199/200 with a reverse run tiebreaker.
From there his best high all around performance of 392/400 allowed him to win junior division runner up with over 1,000 shooters in the junior division participating.
Cosper also placed fourth in skeet and had a top 10 score in sporting clays. As an added bonus to the week he was 1 of 6 AIM members to receive an academic scholarship.
