The fourth round of the 56th Penn-York Junior Golf League season was held Monday at Pine Acres Golf Course, beginning in heavy fog and ending in extremely warm conditions.

Owen Wright of Cardinal Hills shot a 76 to win Division I, while Leon McCardle of Caledonia matched that score to win Division II. Both finished at 4-over-par.

In Division III, Kayd Caskey of Bavarian Hills shot a 42 over nine holes to tie Mason Myers and won a playoff to claim the title.

In Division IV, Keegan Smith of Bavarian Hills and Kaysen Beaver of Cardinal Hills each shot a 33 from modified tees. Smith won the playoff for his third consecutive victory.

In the Division I girls’ competition, Molly Leslie of Bartlett shot a 56 to win by 12 strokes over Allison Sikora of Orchard Park.

This year’s total registration is 102 golfers, with 78 participating in Monday’s round at Pine Acres.

The final Penn-York tournament will be on Monday, August 4th at Bartlett Country Club in Olean.
