Open Arms Community Church will host the Super Summer Bash, a weekend of fun, this Friday and Saturday.

The fun starts Friday with vacation Bible school for children ages 3 through 11. The Kids Fun Night at Open Arms Church, 71 Congress St., is set from 4 to 8 p.m. This program includes worship, food, games, crafts and science projects. Families of participants are invited to return for the ice cream social at 7 o’clock.

The fun continues Saturday when the community is invited to the Community Block Party from noon to 4 p.m. in the church parking lot. There will be inflatables, a dunk tank, live music, food and fun. Children can play games and win school supplies.
