CASA of McKean County is a non-profit organization that works diligently to recruit, train, and support advocate volunteers for our county’s most vulnerable children. Children who have experienced abuse and neglect and are in the custody of Children and Youth Services. Since May of 2015, CASA volunteers have logged over 8,500 hours of volunteer advocacy for children in McKean County. Your contribution as a player or a sponsor for the tournament will meaningfully support CASA of McKean County and the children they serve.
“We are looking forward to the 4th Annual ‘Golf Fore Kids Tournament’ to benefit the McKean County CASA program. The Court Appointed Special Advocate program is focused on advocating for children who experience neglect or abuse by offering a consistent, caring adult who ensures they are in a thriving and nurturing environment. This unique tournament is for Ladies only and is a four-person 9-hole scramble. We have included 4 entertaining and easy Challenge holes to make it lots more fun. We will definitely be bringing back the famous wine hole. It has become a popular staple of the tournament. This Tournament appeals to all levels of lady golfers, even inexperienced ones who just want to come out and have an exciting day on the course with other women to support this worthy cause. As in the past, the day promises to be filled with fun, enthusiasm, and lots of surprises on and off the course! This year’s theme is “classic cartoons” or your favorite Saturday morning cartoon show. We encourage creative costumes and cart decorations. Sponsors and openings for a team are still available,” stated Golf Tournament Organizer and CASA board member, Patsy Arrowsmith.
