Registration open for Kinzua Bridge climate workshop for educators
MOUNT JEWETT — An educator’s workshop will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Aug. 6 on Climate, Water and Resilience, at Kinzua Bridge State Park.
The program helps educators teach middle and high school students about climate and climate change using interactive, objective, science -based activities that students will enjoy. The workshop is open to all educators who work with students from grades 7-12, including teachers, naturalists, scout leaders, and others.
Participants must pay a $15 registration fee, and will receive the Climate, Water, and Resilience Educator Guide by attending along with 2.5 hours of Act 48 hours. Bring your own drink and snack. Registration is required by calling the park office at (814) 778-5467.
