Penn Highlands golf classic successful
DuBOIS — The 2025 Penn Highlands Healthcare/KTH Architects Golf Classic was once again a success, raising more than $96,000 for charity care throughout the health system.
Each year, more than 2,000 people in the communities served by the health system are unable to afford healthcare. Many of these people are forced to sacrifice their health and well-being to avoid mounting medical bills. The funds raised from this Golf Classic will help ensure that people in those communities, regardless of their financial circumstances, have access to quality medical care.
The Classic, which was held June 13 at the Treasure Lake Silver and Gold courses as well as Pleasant Valley Golf Club, welcomed 68 teams that enjoyed friendly competition and challenging fun.
Next year’s Golf Classic will be held June 12.
