One week from BRMC Auxiliary Blueberry Festival
Bradford Regional Medical Center (BRMC) Auxiliary announced the return of a new summer favorite, the Second Annual Blueberry Festival, taking place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25 in the main lobby of BRMC.
This year’s festival promises a fun, family-friendly day filled with music, local vendors and sweet treats, all in support of a great cause. Attendees can enjoy live music throughout the day from local entertainers, and shop a variety of unique items from new vendors including Small Town Girl Boutique, Athena Nutrition, Escape Aqua Massage & Infrared Therapy Spa, T-shirt Sisters and Everything Baked by Samantha Tanner, among others.
One of the highlights of the event is sure to be the delicious blueberry-topped Liege butter and margarine waffles, available with or without whipped cream. A hot dog lunch will also be available.
“Last year’s festival was our first of its kind, and it gave us valuable insights that helped us make this year’s event even better,” said Stephanie Huber, event organizer and executive director, Bradford Hospital Auxiliary. “We’re excited to welcome everyone back for a day of family fun, connection and community spirit. This year, we’ve added musical entertainment, brought in more vendors to explore and swapped the blueberry cobbler for a delicious blueberry-topped waffle. It’s a wonderful chance to come together, enjoy a joyful day and support our local healthcare mission.”
All proceeds from the event will benefit ongoing improvement projects at BRMC, as well as support scholarship opportunities for aspiring healthcare professionals pursuing careers in radiological science and nursing.
