Pitt-Bradford tuition to increase 1 percent
Students at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will see tuition increase by 1% for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The University of Pittsburgh Board of Trustees approved the university’s budget Friday and set tuition rates at all five Pitt campuses.
Pitt increased tuition for in-state undergraduate students by 2% and for out-of-state undergraduates by 4%. The 1% increase at Pitt-Bradford and other regional campuses follows two years with no tuition increase. For families paying in-state tuition for programs other than engineering technology or nursing, the added cost will be $137.
“We’re very pleased that the university raised Pitt-Bradford’s tuition the minimum amount necessary to ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional education,” said Dr. James Baldwin, vice president of enrollment management.
“As college costs continue to rise across the country, this new rate reinforces Pitt-Bradford’s position as an outstanding value — offering a highly personalized education and the distinction of a Pitt degree at a more affordable price.”
Students can see their specific tuition rates along with other cost-of-attendance information on the university’s tuition website.
Tuition for full-time in-state residents at Pitt-Bradford will be $13,796 per year for programs other than engineering technology and nursing. Tuition for engineering technology is $15,996 per year and nursing tuition is $17,676 per year.
Pitt-Bradford offers a Go Beyond NYS Award, which brings out-of-state tuition down to the in-state rate, to qualifying students living in two dozen counties in the Southern Tier, Western, Finger Lakes and Central New York regions.
Additionally, 95.1% of Pitt-Bradford students who apply for financial aid receive help.
Panther Merit Scholarships, received by 65% of new first-year students during the 2024-25 academic year, can add thousands of dollars in aid as well. Finally, donor scholarships help returning Pitt-Bradford students meet their need.
