Two women nabbed for selling crack, meth
SMETHPORT — Two women have been charged recently for selling drugs in McKean County, District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reported Tuesday.
Tammy McMahon
Tammy McMahon, 53, of Bradford and Misty Mihalko, 40, of Smethport were both arrested by the McKean County Drug Task Force — McMahon for selling crack cocaine and Mihalko for both crack cocaine and methamphetamines.
McMahon was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, a felony; possession, a misdemeanor; and criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony. She allegedly set up a drug sale, and then sold crack in exchange for cash while under the surveillance of the task force. In another case, she is charged with possessing a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Misty Mihalko
Mihalko was charged with delivery of crack cocaine, a felony; possession, a misdemeanor; and criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony, in one case. In a second case, she allegedly sold crack and meth while under surveillance of the task force, and is charged with delivery of crack, a felony; possession, a misdemeanor; and criminal use of a communication facility, a felony.
Both women were arraigned before District Judge Rich Luther. McMahon’s bail was set at $50,000 in the drug delivery case and $10,000 in the possession case. She remains incarcerated, and will appear in Central Court on July 24.
Mihalko’s bail was set at $50,000 in each case, which has been posted. She is scheduled for Central Court on July 31.
