Armanini to host Disability and Senior Resource Expo
ST. MARYS – State Rep. Mike Armanini. R-DuBois, announced his upcoming Disability and Senior Resource Expo in partnership with Life and Independence for Today (LIFT), is set 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Elk County Catholic High School, 600 Maurus St.
“Events like this senior expo are a great way to share some of the many resources available to our community,” said Armanini. “Oftentimes, there are resources that our seniors and people with disabilities are unaware of. Hosting these expos allows us to inform the community of what is available to them. I would like to thank LIFT; the Pennsylvania Aging and Disability Resource Centers, known as PA Link; and the Area Transportation Authority of North Central Pennsylvania (ATA) for their support and sponsorship of this event.”
Constituents in attendance at the expo can also receive various screenings, including balance, gambling disorder, grip strength and hearing. Veterans may also sign up for the state’s veteran registry to keep current on programs and services available to them.
Questions about this or any state government issue should be directed to Armanini’s St Marys district office at (814) 781-6301 or his DuBois office at (814) 375-4688.
