The weekly meeting for TOPS 16 was held at the First Presbyterian Church at 54 E. Corydon St. Wednesday, starting with leader Dianna Lewis with the TOPS Pledge.
The song was “TOPS is a Good Sign,” to the tune “I Walk the Line.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Co-Leader Barb Smead weighed in 12, members with a loss of 20.6 pounds. Best Loser in Waiting was Christopher Lathrop and the Officer was Barb Smead. One member was excused and two for calories.
The secretary report was by Nan Stoling, the smile by Jessie Skillman, inspirations by Elaine Harris, household hint by Chris McCracken, joke by Jeanne Lowe, the calorie chart by Barb Smead.
Nickelodeon is hamburger and hot dogs. The Food to Avoid is pizza. The fruit is watermelon and the vegetable is carrot.
The program was by Liz Tanner and she read an article on Love longer and live.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS prayer.
TOPS meetings are held Wednesdays with a weigh-in from 11 a.m. to 12:55 p.m., and the meeting from 1 to 1:45 p.m. There is a handicap ramp by the parking lot. Everyone is welcome.
