Allegheny Mountain Arts Gallery sets next exhibition, reception
For its second solo artist exhibition, Allegheny Mountain Arts Gallery will feature Paige Belt, a senior from Taneytown, Md., majoring in environmental sciences at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
The gallery will host an opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Light refreshments will be served.
“Paige’s art practice aims to contemplate the human role in the environment with a focus on nature scenes and self-portraits. She has taken art courses from professors Daisey Wiley, Sun Young Lee and the mural design course taught by Rick Minard,” gallery representatives said in a press release.
Belt’s work will remain on display until the beginning of August.
