That John Denver’s full of hits!
Ted Vigil returned to Bradford on Tuesday with his Tribute to John Denver in the second of Bradford Creative and Performing Arts Center’s three tribute concerts this summer. Vigil, from Seattle, has played for Denver’s own Windstar Foundation in Aspen, Colo., recreating hits including “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Rocky Mountain High” and “Sunshine on My Shoulders,” just like the man himself. Denver’s lead guitarist in the 1970s, Steve Wiesberg, said, “Apparently the audience thinks they all look and sound like John. I don’t see it. I see it with Ted. A very strong physical resemblance … Uncanny!” BCPAC’s third and final tribute of 2025, E5C4P3, a tribute to Journey, will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 7.
