Beacon Light to open Bradford outpatient clinic

Beacon Light Behavioral Health System (BLBHS), an affiliate of Journey Health System, announced a new outpatient clinic at 23 Kennedy St. inside Bradford’s Old City Hall building. BLBHS will also continue to serve clients at its established clinic in Warren. This expansion will further enhance BLBHS’s goal to provide comprehensive mental health care to consumers of all ages across the region.

Behavioral health services and evidence-based treatments will be provided by Joshua Halbauer, MD, a seasoned psychiatrist with over 26 years of experience in the field, along with a dedicated team of professionals.

“We are thrilled to offer outpatient services to the Bradford area,” said Jen Gesing, BLBHS executive director. “Our goal is to provide accessible mental health support to everyone in the area, and this new clinic is a testament to our commitment.”

Office hours will initially be Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Most health insurance plans are accepted, including Medicare.

For over 120 years, BLBHS has become one of the largest mental health care providers throughout Pennsylvania for adults, children and families. In addition to outpatient care, BLBHS offer a full spectrum of services in both community-based and residential settings.

All new clients will be scheduled for an initial intake and evaluation to begin outpatient services. To make an appointment or referral, call 814-723-1832 or visit www.beacon-light.org for more information.
