Bradford Ramblers Battle Through Tournament at Pitt-Bradford
The Bradford Rambler 8U baseball team took the field this weekend at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, hosting a full day of tournament action filled with energy, effort, and plenty of highlights.
In their first game, the Ramblers came out swinging, defeating the St. Marys Grinders in a high-scoring 18-15 showdown. Bradford racked up an impressive 34 hits and turned a solid double play to help secure the win.
Game two proved more challenging as the Ramblers faced off against the Diamond Dawgs of Falconer. Despite collecting 13 hits, Bradford struggled to bring runners home, falling 19-1 in the afternoon matchup. Still, the defense remained a bright spot, with the team turning another double play to cap off a strong showing in the field.
Splitting on the day, the Ramblers showed growth, grit, and hustle — setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
