CARE for Children 32nd golf tournament set for Aug. 3
The Pennhills Club will host the 32nd Annual CARE ‘fore’ Children Golf Tournament on Sunday, August 3. The tournament is a four-person scramble with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start, and flighting based on overall combined team handicap.
The entry fee is $65 for Pennhills members and $85 for non-members, which includes green fees, cart, and food on the course. The total purse is $3,600, based on 36 teams, with additional prizes on par-3 holes.
CARE for Children Board Members Norm Strotman and Mick Marshall are co-chairing this year’s event.
“The dedicated team at CARE works every day to ensure that every child in the organization’s programs has the opportunity to thrive,” according to Strotman. “The tournament directly supports the vital services CARE provides. We appreciate the community and especially the sponsors, golfers, and volunteers who have made this event so successful”
