Bill would benefit military personnel at state parks
HARRISBURG – State Rep. Mike Armanini, R-DuBois, shared that his legislation to make enjoying Pennsylvania’s great outdoors more accessible for military personnel and their families unanimously passed out of the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
“House Bill 1342 will provide a 15% discount to all active duty, retired and disabled military personnel and their immediate family on activity fees and charges at our state parks,” Armanini said. “I think this is a great way to honor these soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who give so much so we can be safe. I am happy to see my bill pass unanimously out of committee.”
House Bill 1342 now heads to the House chamber for a vote.
