The Port Allegany Veterans Memorial Inc. (VMI) invited the community to get ready for summer fun at its Summer Fest held Saturday. The event featured a full lineup of family friendly activities including an inflatable slide, bounce house, music and favorite foods of the summer including a chicken barbecue, hot dogs and hamburgers along with craft vendors and more. The evening ended with a fireworks display and these kids enjoyed dancing after dark while waiting for the show to start.
