Electronics and household hazardous waste collection
A household hazardous and electronic waste collection will be held 8 a.m. to noon July 26 at 212 Airport Road, Lewis Run. This is the only event that will be held in 2025. Pre-registration is required by visiting nobleenviro.com or calling (412) 567-6566.
On the event listing, choose the July 26 McKean County event. Follow the steps to register and reserve a time slot. Pay per pound with payment due the day of the event after all your items are accounted for and weighed
Accepted chemicals include paint/workshop products, automotive products, cleaning products, lawn and garden products, pesticides, every type of battery, every type of light bulb/tube, flammables and pool chemicals, mostly any chemical you find under your sink or in your garage.
Accepted freon and electronics include TVs, computers, printers, phones, window AC units, dehumidifiers, mini fridges, microwaves, laptops, gaming devices and any other electronic device with a cord, screen or circuit board.
This is a pay per pound event with the following rates:
- Freon, 37 cents
- Televisions and monitors, 70 cents
- All other electronics, 50 cents
- Paint and stains, 85 cents
- Bulbs and batteries, 95 cents
- Chemicals $1.15
- Propane cylinders (all sizes), $7.50
