Buffalo/Niagara Honor Flight, local veterans and organizations expressed their appreciation of retiring Bradford Area School District Superintendent Katy Pude, left. Several representatives attended a special BASD school board meeting Monday evening to thank Pude for her support of the initiative throughout her tenure. Bradford Mayor Tom Riel read a proclamation from the City of Bradford; Tim Hayden presented a certificate of appreciation from state Rep. Martin Causer, R-Turtlepoint; Don Langley of Bradford VFW Post 212 presented a special edition Case knife and, shown, Bradford Legion Post 108 Commander Bob Witchen a special edition Zippo lighter. Buffalo/Niagara Honor Flight Executive Director Tom Petrie spoke, followed by a salute by the Bradford Legion Post 108 Honor Guard. The program was chaired by Hayden and Mike Dennis of Post 108.
