Bradford Area Lions Club installed its 2025-26 officers Tuesday and recognized Lion Rocco Pompa as Lion of the Year.

“Rocco is an excellent Lion who serves his community through volunteering at The Friendship Table, participating in Lions service projects and fundraisers, and volunteering his time and expertise with repairs and upgrades at the Bradford Township Community Center,” Lions representatives said in a press release.

Pompa said, “I feel honored to be recognized. Our jobs as Lions are meant to better our community for all, and I am humbled to be part of any effort to create positive change in Bradford.”
