Port Allegany’s Concerts on the Town Square (COTS) series began June 12 with the music of Dan Roche. The concerts were set to begin June 5 but were cancelled due to weather. Roche is pictured with his son, Cameron, who joined his dad for a couple numbers. The rest of the concert schedule is Bobby Speathe, June 19; Alex Cole, June 26; Twin Tiers Community Band, July 10; Dana Daisley, July 17; Randy Andreano, July 24; RSVP, July 31; Ryen Doud, Aug. 7; Eldred Church of God, Aug. 14; Jerry Kilcoin/Neighborhood School of Dance, Aug. 21; and Kane Guitar Band, Aug. 28. The concerts, which are hosted by the Port Allegany Women’s Club, begin at 6 p.m. Refreshments are available for purchase and proceeds go to organizations and charities chosen by the club. There is a 50/50 raffle each week with the proceeds benefiting the local food bank, Port Allegany Community Services (PACS).
