Frances Sherman VFWA met Monday evening in the VFW Post 212’s club rooms. Draping of the Charter was observed for deceased members Louis Colts Sr. and Pat Crooks. Membership stands at 103.45%.

• Buddy Poppy — Amy’s 212 VFWA entry at convention took third place.
• Scholarship — In house scholarship awards were presented prior to the meeting. Congratulations to Allison Ditzenberger and Evan Confer.
• Bingo — Next one is July 6.
• Hometown Heroes — Repairs are being made to several banners. A fundraiser will be held to fortify the account. There has been a lot of taking down, putting back up, repairing due to high winds.
• Fundraiser — July 18 will be a lunch fundraiser. Sheets will be distributed to businesses for this. Club sub, chips, cookie, water for $10. Plan is to rally the lunches July 16 after the meeting.
• On The Road Training — Let Amy know if you plan to attend. She’s looking at either Sharon or Bloomsburg to go. RSVP as soon as possible.

District 19 meeting will be held in Bradford on Aug. 17.
