Severe thunderstorm watch, flood watch in effect
The National Weather Service in State College issued a flood watch early today for McKean and Warren counties, in effect from 2 p.m. through late tonight.
Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible throughout the area, including the cities of Bradford and Warren. Heavy rain at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible with lingering thunderstorms, and could result in localized rainfall amounts of more than 3 inches in a short duration.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.

Monday afternoon NWS added a severe thunderstorm watch through 10 p.m. tonight in McKean, Potter, Elk, Cameron and Warren counties, as well as Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Greene, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and Washington.
