The final 11 players for the NY roster for the 2025 Big 30 have been announced, bringing the total players to 41. Organizers noted that other players may be announced as the event gets closer.

The final 11 for NY include Southwestern’s Owen Hayes; Portville’s Cole Keesler; Cuba-Rushford’s Breckham Hunt and Kadin Pierce; Franklinville’s Collin Mooney; Salamanca’s Xavier Peters; Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Noah Fuller; Blake Weaver and Greyson Lewis of Frewsburg; Carter Smith of Ellicottville; and Noah Ochoa of Pioneer.

Owen Hayes

Southwestern High School

Height: 5’8” – Weight: 160 lbs.

Offense: QB – Defense: LB

Owen will be attending the University of Miami of Ohio to study Finance. His honors include being a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and Varsity Football Team Captain. He wants to play in the Big 30 game so he can leave it all on the field one last time and have no regrets. Owen’s best football memory was getting his first start at quarterback during his sophomore year. In that game, he threw three touchdown passes against Chautauqua Lake. His hobbies include lifting, golfing, fishing, and playing basketball. His favorite team is the Ohio State Buckeyes and his favorite player is Jeremiah Smith.

Cole Keesler

Portville Central School

Height 5’5” – Weight: 150 lbs.

Offense: RB – Defense: DB

Cole plans to attend St. Bonaventure University to major in Exercise Science and play baseball. He would like to continue on to become a Physical Therapist. He was honored by making the 1st Team League All-Star Team for Baseball. He also received the Team Leadership Award for Football and was a regular on the High Honor Roll. He wants to play in the Big 30 game so he can be on the field to play football one last time. He feels that making the Big 30 team is a huge accomplishment and looks forward to playing against the best in the area. Cole’s best football memory was beating Chautauqua Lake to move on to the championship game that was played at Highmark Stadium. His hobbies are working out, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. His favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is George Pickens.

Breckham Hunt

Cuba-Rushford High School

Height: 5’9” – Weight: 200 lbs

Offense: RB – Defense: DE

Breckham plans to attend Alfred State and major in Heavy Equipment Operation. He was an Honorable Mention All-Star in football during his junior year and was the team captain during his senior year. He wants to play in the Big 30 because, for as long as he can remember, he had a goal to play hard enough to be selected as a Big 30 All-Star. His best football memory was playing in the Section VI Championship game at Highmark Stadium. Breckham’s hobbies are hunting, working out, and running heavy equipment. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Troy Polamalu.

Collin Mooney

Franklinville High School

Height: 5’11” – Weight 170 lbs.

Offense: FB – Defense: MLB

Collin plans to attend Alfred State College to pursue a degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance Electrician to become an Electrician. His awards and honors include being named as a 1st Team All-Star in football, Character Athlete of the Week, Rizzo’s Athlete of the Week, and Scholar Athlete. In basketball, he received 2nd Team All-Star recognition, was the Utility Player of the Year, Honorable Mention Team All-Star, Most Improved Player, and Scholar Athlete. He was on the High Honor roll, inducted into the National Honor Society, received the Confidence Character Award of the Month, BOCES Outstanding Student in Fundamental Building Systems, BOCES High Honor Roll, and was inducted into the BOCES National Technical Honor Society. Collin wants to play in the Big 30 game because he feels that it is a huge honor to be selected to play in the game and be recognized for all his hard work and dedication that he has put into playing football over the years. His best football memory is going to Highmark Stadium to play. His hobbies include hunting, snowmobiling, and riding side-by-sides. Collin’s favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Tyler Bass.

Xavier Peters

Salamanca High School

Height: 5’11” – Weight: 175 lbs.

Offense: RB – Defense: DE

Xavier plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Health Care and play lacrosse. His awards and honors are being named to the 2nd Team All-Western New York for football and being on the High Honor Roll throughout his high school career. He wants to play in the Big 30 game to give himself one last to play with friends, teammates, and coaches, specifically his own coach, Chad Bartoszek. Xavier’s hobbies are working out, playing the piano, and going for walks. His favorite football team is the New York Jets and his favorite football player is Barry Sanders.

Greyson Lewis

Frewsburg Central High School

Height: 6’1” – Weight: 220 lbs.

Offense: T – Defense: DL

Greyson plans to acquire his CDL license and join the Crane Operators Union. He was a Trench Trophy Nominee and was the Frewsburg Lineman of the Year, twice. He wants to play in the Big 30 game so he can have one more chance to play football before hanging up his cleats for good. Greyson’s hobbies include working, riding dirt bikes, four-wheelers, and snowmobiles. He also loves just hanging out with his friends. His favorite football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite player is Ndamakong Suh.

Noah Fuller

Cattaraugus Little Valley Central School

Height: 5’11” – Weight: 180 lbs.

Offense: G/T – Defense: MLB

Noah plans to attend college for Business. His honors and awards were 2nd team Football and the Jason Denfrund Hog Award. He wants to play in the Big 30 game to continue his football career and just for the overall experience. Noah’s best memory while playing football was winning his first varsity game against Cardinal O’Hara. Noah’s hobby is riding dirt bikes. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills.

Blake Weaver

Frewsburg Central School

Height: 6’1″ – Weight: 180 lbs.

Offense: RB/WR – Defense: LB

Blake will be attending Jamestown Community College in the fall and then going through the State Trooper Academy. He received Defensive Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and the Shane Conlan Character Athlete Award. His best football memory was winning the Section VI title and scoring the game winning touchdown. Blake’s hobbies are working out and playing basketball. His favorite team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite players are Bruce Smith and Josh Allen.

Carter Smith

Ellicottville Central School

Height: 5’10” – Weight: 160 lbs.

Offense: RB – Defense: CB

Carter plans to attend Finger Lakes Community College to study Conservation. The honors that he has received were Scholar Athlete in his junior and senior year, and Second Team Football on Defense. He wants to play in the Big 30 game because he feels that it is a cool accomplishment being chosen to play in the game. Carter’s best football memory was playing at Highmark Stadium as a senior. His hobbies include hunting, basketball, and football. His favorite team is the Buffalo Bills and his favorite player is Josh Allen.

Noah Ochoa

Pioneer High School

Height: 5’7” – Weight: 250 lbs.

Offensive: Center – Defensive: DT

Noah plans to go to a community college and afterwards go to the Academy for Law Enforcement. His honors include Most Valuable Lineman of the Year, Class B2 All-Team 2nd Team Offense, Trench Trophy, and Scholar Athlete Award. He wants to play in the Big 30 game because it will be his last memory in football. Noah’s best football memory was going to Highmark Stadium to play. His hobbies include playing video games and he loves to hang out with his bro. He lists his favorite football team as the Miami Dolphins and his favorite player is Jason Kelce.

Kadin Pierce

Cuba Rushford High School

Height: 6′ – Weight: 180 lbs.

Offense: G/FB – Defense: E/ OLB

Kadin plans to enter the workforce and join the Welding Industry. He lists his awards as Best Teammate in Football and Honor Roll. He wants to play in the Big 30 game because ever since he started to play football, he has imagined playing in the Big 30 game. He feels that it is a great honor to be picked to play in this game. Kadin’s best memory while playing football was getting to play in Highmark Stadium, home of the Bills, for one of his last games. Kadin’s hobbies are fishing, hunting, and welding. His favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills, and his favorite player is Brian Urlacher.
